Whether you attend in person or via live-stream interactive video, our experienced instructors will guide you through everything you need to know - from health and prevention to bandaging and stabilizing, poisons, household dangers, and more. With this course, you'll gain the skills and confidence to help your furry friend.

I Can Help-Dog Safety & First Aid for Kids - $59

Looking for a fun and educational activity for your dog-loving child? Our 3-hour dog safety and first aid class is perfect for kids who want to learn how to better care for their furry friends. In this hands-on class, children will learn about dog body language, basic needs, and how to recognize when their dog isn't feeling well. They'll even learn how to bandage a paw, head, and leg, and receive a child-friendly booklet with puzzles and colouring pages.

Feline Emergency First Aid & CPR - $169

Are you looking for a comprehensive course on feline first aid? Our full-day hands-on training covers a wide range of topics, including basic life-saving techniques like CPR and mouth-to-nose resuscitation, as well as how to respond to traffic accidents, eye injuries, back injuries, high-rise syndrome, frostbite, UTIs, feline diabetes, dog attacks, broken limbs/tail, abscesses, essential oils, and other dangers.

I Can Help - Cat Safety & First Aid for Kids - $59

This fun and interactive program is designed for Kids ages 5-9 and includes basic cat safety rules and safe holding, body language, basic cat and kitten care needs, and how to recognize a first aid emergency with their feline. This booklet includes fun engaging activities as well as directions to make a fun and safe toy for their cats.

Pet Emergency First Aid & CPR - $199

Canine Health Canada’s Pet First Aid Course gives pet owners and caregivers the skills and confidence to respond to common emergencies involving dogs and cats. Learn to recognize illness and injury, perform CPR, manage wounds, choking, and heat or cold emergencies, and safely stabilize your pet until veterinary care is available. Includes a certificate upon completion and a comprehensive take-home manual.

Safe Travel with Pets

Canine Health Canada’s Safe Travel with Pets Course teaches pet owners how to prepare and manage safe journeys with dogs and cats. Learn essential tips for comfortable and stress-free travel, including vehicle safety, proper restraints, travel planning, handling motion stress, and recognizing signs of discomfort or risk on the road. This practical course helps you keep your pet healthy, happy, and secure on every trip.

Disaster Planning for Pet Owners - $79

This course covers disasters, alert types, mapping out your home/property, essentials of your "Go Bag", nose-to-tail assessments of your pets, identifying shock, what to have on hand for shelter in place, and more! The course comes with a workbook for your planning and personal preparedness notes.

Equine Emergency First Aid - $169

A one-day hands-on course with horses covering: what your vet needs to know when you call, conditioning a horse to accept treatment, taking proper vital signs, dealing with lacerations, punctures, colic, choke, collapse, casting, shock, hoof issues, recognizing pain in the horse, sources of pain and alleviation, spinal health, injury prevention and so much more! All attendees receive a certificate of completion, and first aid manual.

Advanced Equine Emergency First Aid - $169

Join us for a one day highly advanced equine emergency first aid course and learn what to do in more extreme situations!



Covering everything from assessing the condition of a horse, trapped horses, poison, burns, bites, hypo/hyperthermia, tie-ups, fractures, sucking chest wounds and more, this course prepares the student to handle the most serious injuries, where without human intervention the horse will not survive.

Equine First Aid Fundamentals - $99

This is a half day fast paced clinic covering the fundamentals of first aid. Working hands on with the horses, you will learn to take vital signs, recognize pain in the horse, detect colic, and participate in lots of bandaging in realistic scenarios! All attendees receive a first aid reference booklet.

I Can Help-Horse Safety & First Aid for Kids - $59

Have a horse crazy youngster? Sign them up for the 3 hour kids program. They'll learn horse safety and basic first aid in a fun, hands on environment. There's even a recipe for horse cookies in their manual and they'll all get a framable certificate of completion! No horse experience necessary!

She is fully certified to teach first aid courses through Canine Health Canada, Feline Health Canada, and Equi-Health Canada—three national organizations dedicated to high-quality, practical animal first aid training. With certifications from all three organizations, Ashlyn brings a well-rounded and deeply informed perspective to first aid instruction, blending practical know-how with compassion to give you the skills and confidence to respond when it matters most.

Canine Health Canada provides comprehensive canine CPR and emergency first aid programs that equip students with hands-on skills to confidently handle dog health crises, from CPR and choking response to wound care and stabilization techniques. Their curriculum is developed with veterinary input and offers a variety of course options for different levels of experience.

Feline Health Canada delivers specialized feline first aid education recognizing the unique needs and emergency scenarios that cats present. These courses cover essential cat-specific health topics and emergency responses to help keep feline companions safe and thriving. 

Equi-Health Canada focuses on equine health and emergency first aid, teaching horse owners and professionals how to assess, prevent, and respond effectively to common and complex situations involving horses. Their hands-on equine first aid training is designed to build confidence in real-world barn, trail, and remote settings.
